Briefly about the last 11 days of work:
The number of volunteers involved has increased to 33. Many of them are Cargill employees in Lviv and Kyiv. With their help, we urgently address the issues of logistics, storage in warehouses of partners, legal registration of food, which are already collected by our colleagues from the European Food Banks. We are also assisted by participants of territorial defense, accompanying in the most troubled regions. We are also sincerely grateful to all who care who join in different locations and help with cargo and organizational issues! Everything works out together!
We handed over food products for families who fled from Chernihiv, Sumy and other destroyed areas, as well as the for elderly, large families in bomb shelters, hospitals, for one of the units of territorial defense of Kyiv.
Thanks to our incredible and dedicated volunteers, the food and hygenic goods collected by colleagues from the Food Banks of Estonia and Romania were donated to the Nizhyn Orphanage for Children with Special Needs (today there are 102 children aged 3 to 25). Getting there was a real miracle! It was very important for to reach there. We had helped them for many years.
We have bought (METRO Cash & Carry) food products of long-term storage with a total weight of 4.5 tons and distributed them to Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi.
Together with the NGO "Tarilka" we also have shared food products for people who left their homes and now live in Lviv and the Lviv region.
The main military hospital in Kyiv received about 7 tons of bottled water from TM Morshynska.
Together with the local territorial defense, five tons of dairy products from PepsiCo Ukraine were handed over to the military and civilians in the medical institutions of the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv.
One and a half tons of bread received from Lviv we were transferred to the Kyiv City Psychiatric Hospital №1 named after IP Pavlov, where sick and completely defenseless people from all over the region are gathered.
We truly thank METRO Cash & Carry for household chemicals, it was transferred to the Kharkiv Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern Region.
Our volunteers collected vegetables and fruits that remained in reserve at the beginning of the war in educational institutions of the Podilskyi district of Kyiv at the beginning of the war, and handed them over to medical institutions in Kyiv for staff and patients.
