How is Food Sharing changing the lives of Ukrainians right now?

This year, on World Food Day, our team once again brought together Ukrainian producers and retailers to support people affected by the war. Together with our partners, we collected over 40 tonnes of food, equivalent to the weight of two huge trucks.

The main idea of the event was the concept of "Food Sharing," which brings a new perspective to cooperation in the field of food security. This initiative involves saving food and redistributing it among vulnerable populations. So, quality products are not wasted but instead help change the lives of those facing hunger.

We were able to implement this initiative thanks to the support of our partners Mondelez Ukraine, METRO Ukraine, Hipp Ukraine, MHP, IDS Ukraine, Carlsberg Ukraine, PepsiCo Ukraine, and Danone Ukraine. Within this event, we engaged over 100 volunteers who reached over 10,000 beneficiaries in Kyiv and the surrounding region, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, and the Donetsk region.
